Building an extraordinary villa involves creative minds to work with. Nevertheless, sometimes people might forget that a villa doesn’t have to be too luxuriously constructed. Having this Norwegian villa as a fine example, I am going to show you how the combination of pale colors creates such a powerful and outstanding, though not very magnificent, interior design.
Taking a quick look at the house’s pictures, our eyes will soon be captivated by white and bright grey colors that dominate the residence’s interior design. Meanwhile, the light beige-colored wood strips applied on the house’s exterior makes it appears exclusive. Standing on a 412 square meters area in a rather private space which is not located next to other residences in Finn, the sense of peacefulness is naturally represented. Unlike any other houses with two levels which normally place the bedrooms on the upper floor, this Norwegian villa utilizes its first floor for three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a hall, and a laundry room instead. Meanwhile, the second level is occupied by other rooms like living room and kitchen. The location of those social spaces is well supported by an outside staircase allowing any guests to directly go up to the second floor in which the living room is located without having to interfere the first floor’s personal space.
The comfortable living room opens up the beautiful panoramic view of the sea and sky through a huge glass window. Two unique, transparent chairs enable those sitting on the comfy grey sofa to keep enjoying the scenery all the way through their translucent surface—even when those two chairs are placed right in front of them. The color of grey that dominates almost every inch of the bedroom makes it such a serene spot to take a rest. The white, clean bathroom offers its residents two choices for bathing activities by providing both bathtub and shower. A set of dining table—along with two stunning candelabras put on it and a uniquely-designed hanging lamp attached on the cellar—is placed next to the kitchen. Overall, this villa facilitates a more-than-just-nice place for us to spend our holiday, even the rest of our lifetime in.
